Dymo Labelwriter on Mac Lion: Application could not find supported printers. Please re-install your printer driver

You may be receiving the following error when trying to install a Dymo LabelWriter on to the new Mac Lion OS - "Application could not find supported printers. Please re-install your printer driver".  There are several possible reasons for this error:

1. Your printer is not supported by Mac Lion - The Dymo Labelwriter LW3xx series is not supported by Mac Lion Operating Systems
2. The Dymo driver / label software does not support Mac Lion - You need to upgrade the Dymo software to at least version 8.3.1 for Mac, as previous versions do not support the Lion OS
3. If you are still having problems please try the following:
   • Unplug the LabelWriter's USB cable
   • (Re)Install Dymo Label Software 8.3.1
   • Reboot the Mac
   • Replug LabelWriter's USB cable
